MUR - Section speed measurement
Section speed measurement (MUR) is designed for two-way data collection on traffic in the measured section of the road, their evaluation according to predefined parameters and processing into a form for automatic enforcement in case of violation of road traffic rules. According to the results of practice, it is not only a preventive, but especially a repressive tool, designed to increase the respect of the mentioned rules - observance of the maximum permitted speed at the place of installation. It consists of technical equipment (for example, CDT-Speed ​CAM from CD Telematika a.s.) and integration to the information system MP Manager (IS MP Manager). MUR is one of IS MP Manager modules and works on its standard principles (more information).
